Corporate Solicitor

My client is a leading UK Legal 500 firm with a network of offices nationwide. An innovative practice with a "Gold Standard" accreditation from Investors in People, my client's values and culture remain the centre of their firm. My client has an award winning Corporate team who advise companies, management teams, investors, and debt providers, through the business life cycle.

The Leeds based team is looking to further strengthen its practice with an additional Corporate Solicitor. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 4 years PQE, (or equivalent) and be able to manage their own caseload and handle the following Corporate matters;

• M&A
• Private equity
• Venture capital
• Capital markets
• Joint ventures
• Re-organisations

The candidate will also have the below responsibilities;

• Providing the best client experience.

• Carrying out high quality work and have a good level of client contact.

• Shaping and delivering projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria.

• Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients.

• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.

The successful candidate for this Corporate Solicitor role will have trained with a leading city, national or regional firm and be eager to make their mark in a friendly, collegiate and award winning team.
