Legal Counsel (Commercial/Corporate/Litigation) - South London - 7 yrs PQE+ - Multinational Energy Plc (one of the major big six UK energy suppliers).

Client Details

Our Client is a UK listed business and one of Europe's largest suppliers and generators of electricity.

Description

The successful candidate will be engaged in advising the business in relation to:

• commercial contracts and general commercial matters
• corporate matter (inc JV's, M&A and Financing)
• Litigation and debt recovery

Please note, the core of the role is commercial and corporate. Strength and experience in these areas are a pre-requisite for a successful applicant.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• be a UK or equivalent common law jurisdiction qualified lawyer
• be likely to have at least 7 years of post qualification experience gained either in private practice at a chambers ranked law firm, or in house within a respected in house legal team

Experience in the energy sector is not a pre-requisite, but will be looked upon favourably.
