We have a brand new opportunity for contract manager to join an international IT based organisation with offices across the South of England. They are a well established international group whose reputation is held high both inside and outside. An open relationship with your seniors will always be available for advice and guidance whenever necessary, and in equal parts they will trust you and allow you to manage your own workload independently.
Preferably you will bring to the team at least 3 years of commercial contract management experience in a professional services/IT environment. The skills you bring to the table will help you to deliver on the following responsibilities:
* Reviewing and negotiating client and supplier contracts through to closure
* Providing advice and support at all stages, including variations and contract claims
* Acting as a direct point of contact to the business on commercial / legal matters
* Reviewing, interpreting and advising on existing contracts
* Supporting the business with effective administration of contracts including the provision of contractual templates and tool kits
* Ensuring that internal governance is complied with
* Assisting the sales team to win new business and identify routes to contract
* Identifying, managing and reporting on key commercial / legal risks
