Intellectual Property Solicitor/Associate

Our client, a full-service international law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Solicitor/Associate to join their highly regarded IP team based in Birmingham.

About the role

This firm's Birmingham IP team is highly rated in the Legal 500 and act for an enviable client base. The team undertake both domestic and international work and carry out a range of work including enforcement strategies and clearance of brands, advertising and designs.

The team can provide a broad diet of work and this role would be biased towards contentious work but with the opportunity to undertake non-con contentious matters.

About the person

The successful IP Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally a minimum of 1 years' experience gained at a well-respected international or national law firm. This does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying for this role. Contentious IP experience is desirable.

The Intellectual Solicitor/Associate's desired skills include:

* Excellent academic record;
* A keen eye for detail;
* A team player with good project management skills; and
* Commercial awareness
