Our client, a leading NGO organisation whose heart is embedded in the fight against terminal illness is in need of an experienced commercial lawyer to take on a Head of Legal position and lead their in-house legal team in Central London.

The Head of Legal will take full responsibility of the legal department leading on all corporate governance and legal support across the charity. Responsibility will be taken for the Legal Department of the NGO and the provision of all legal advice, guidance and services to the NGO, and thereby ensure the timely provision of legal advice and assistance to the NGO to proactively further the charitable aims of the organisation.

The successful candidate will be experienced in Secretarial duties (specific experience in Charities/NGOs is desirable but non essential). Further experience in the following will be highly advantageous:

* Corporate Governance
* Data protection & GDPR
* Commercial Law & Commercial Contracts
* Intellectual Property
* Employment Law
* Taking responsibility for Litigation when necessary
* Risk and Compliance
* Regulation
