As a leading global Investment Management group, this highly successful business focuses on infrastructure and real estate to create real value for investors, project partners, communities and end users. Operating globally, with a head office in London, the group organisation has doubled in size in the past 2 years and with $10bn++ of equity capital in funds, is enjoying ambitious expansion across all revenue streams. As a result, the company is recruiting for a 2:1/1st class graduate qualified accountant with PFI, PPP or Infrastructure sector experience, to undertake a Financial Controller role. Supporting the Infrastructure team, you will lead the management and financial reporting function, financial and treasury management and the finance team, working across various infrastructure funds and co-investment vehicles. A broad brief includes:

•Financial Control, Reporting & Management
-Manage fund reporting & control for infrastructure funds & co-investment vehicles
-Supporting quarterly financial reporting of results
-Manage & review of quarterly capital accounts
-Review & challenge of quarterly carried interest & fund management fee calculations
-Calculation & review of investor drawdown & distribution notices
-Ensuring successful onboarding of new investment vehicles
-Review & support fund valuation process
•Regulatory Reporting
-Manage preparation & audit of annual financial statements under FRS 102 or IFRS
-Manage & improve quarterly & year end close processes
-Ensuring delivery of required data for UK, US & overseas tax reporting
-Manage preparation & submission of overseas VAT
•FX Hedging & Treasury
-Manage & control fund FX hedging strategy
-Manage weekly payment runs in line with fund requirements
-Review weekly fund forecast cash flows & requirements
-Manage & review fund facility requirements & ensure compliance with finance agreements

As a 2:1/1st class graduate and qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA, you will demonstrate post qualification experience, gained within the PFI, PPP or Infrastructure Investment Fund Management sector, in technical and statutory accounting, audit, tax and financial control. The role demands a rigorous analytical and results-oriented approach, numerical dexterity and outstanding interpersonal skills. The ability to influence and build robust relationships with key stakeholders is prerequisite to the success of the role. You may be an incumbent Investment Fund or related infrastructure industry Group Finance Manager/Controller/Head of Finance at present, seeking a step up in responsibility and early career development.
