The Opportunity
Cedar Private Equity are working with the CEO of a Mid-Cap Private Equity backed Marketing business to recruit an interim CFO (With an option to become permanent). The company is looking for an experienced Private Equity CFO to help streamline finance processes before preparing the £20mn T/O business for sale.
The Role
As the Interim CFO of a Private Equity backed business you will be looking to bring in best practice in terms of processes, controls and systems in preparation for an Exit. Initially you will be improving the finance function with a focus of building credit control and streamlining invoicing. The role will be focused around business partnering with the CEO and PE house and challenging them on the strategic position of the business. The £15mn T/O currently have £1mn of outstanding invoices to be chased.
The Requirements
- Available at short notice
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience within the Marketing / Media sector (Or Similar)
- Worked within a private equity backed business at a senior finance level
- Strong influencer of people
- Experience of going through the sale/exit process
Position: Interim CFO - (Potential for Permanent CFO)

Salary: £750 to £1000/Day (Negotiable dependent on experience)
