Job Summary

We are seeking a Vice President of Global Sales to lead our growing Sales Team. Reporting to the CEO and President, the Vice President of Global Sales is a member of the senior leadership team, with responsibility to develop and drive execution of Seek Thermals strategic sales plans, driving overall annual revenue growth and building a high-performance sales team. This position is located in our Santa Barbara Headquarters.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Global Sales Management, including current direct reports; Head of Global Branded Sales and Head of Global OEM Sales

• Develop annual sales plan in support of organization growth goals, strategy and objectives and leads sales organization to achieve and exceed these plans.

• Direct development, implementation and execution of sales policies and practices and process.

• Identify and implement sales strategies and channels for driving sales growth, based on field feedback, competitor analyses and win/loss analysis.

• Develop and implement B2C channel strategies, structures and roles.

• Define, manage and report on B2B OEM sales process.

• Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales initiatives. Recruit and hire outstanding sales professionals and managers.

• Key administrative deliverables:

? Sales forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annually, 12 month rolling)

? Funnel analysis (CRM management and implementation)

? Monthly written sales team activity reports

? Contractual compliance (distribution, OEM supply agreements, etc.)

• Mentor, coach and develop high achieving sales team.

• This position will require extensive business travel, both domestic and international

• Performs other related duties as assigned


SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• B2C: Experience in a channels-based go-to-market company.

• B2B: Experience selling component/sub assembly/hardware that is designed or selected by customer for resale or integration into larger system, ideally through a technical evaluation process.

• Must have experience with direct selling cycle associated with design wins, product development, procurement and customer go-to-market.

• Experience building inside sales models for channel support, lead generation domestically and internationally.

• Must be process-driven with hands on, proven track record of implementing a stage-based selling process and associated tools and training required for deployment, ideally deployed in a smaller organization.

• Entrepreneurial orientation and hands-on management style. Must like to build and run things, not just manage them.

• Solid understanding and ability to quickly comprehend new technical products and solutions.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.

• Demonstrated skill in driving results that meet company sales goals

• Must be customer focused, ensuring customers are a priority and our commitment to meeting customer needs is kept in the forefront.

• Must have a high level of communication proficiency, respectfully acknowledging the needs, values and opinions of others, ensuring communication is open, productive and well mannered

• Experience in developing a high performance sales team, through effective leadership, mentoring and coaching.

• Bachelors degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field.

• MBA highly desired

• 5-7 years experience in a sales management role

• Prior sales and/or sales management experience in a world-class selling organization
