Senior Group Management Accountant | Manchester City Centre | £65k | Multi-site Retail
Axon Moore are working with a leading UK brand currently undertaking a period of growth, both organically and through acquisition.
The business is now expanding rapidly across the world and is well-placed to grow its presence in new markets in the coming years.
The role will be tasked with working closely with numerous business stakeholders based both in the UK and overseas and will be tasked with driving continuous improvement across the business’ operations.
Based in the Manchester city centre head office, the Group Management Accountant will undertake the following roles and responsibilities;
• ACA or CIMA qualified
• Experience in a multi-country, multi-currency group function
• Staff management experience
• Experience of working alongside and presenting to the senior management team and external stakeholders

Based in the Manchester city centre head office, the Group Management Accountant will undertake the following roles and responsibilities;
- Coordination of Group’s monthly management accounts requirements
- Coordination of quarterly management reporting requirements
- Review of corporate head office costs month end process
- Perform regular deep-dive analysis into areas of the P&L across the Group
- Identify and drive changes in Hyperion reporting to increase efficiency, consistency and new areas of analysis across the Group
- Regular collaboration with the Group Planning Manager to ensure knowledge of monthly results feeds in to projection and planning activities appropriately
- Support Group Financial Controller’s team with necessary information on business performance in relation to statutory account preparation, tax calculations and cross border recharges
- Advise territories on management reporting for new transactions
- Identification of opportunities to increase EBITDA through accounting judgments and business acumen
- Management, coaching and development of one direct report
