CFO / COO

Our client is an international, growing, private equity backed technology business at an exciting stage in its lifecycle.  The CEO is looking to hire a CFO/COO to partner with him and the senior management team and help establish robust financial and operational systems, processes and controls to help enable successful scale up and allow ultimately a successful exit for the new PE investors.

The role is both hands on/operational and strategic/forward looking (as the finance team is currently very small).  The CFO/COO will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight and direction to the finance function as well as the wider organisation.  In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for banking and investor relationships and will be required to establish policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, M&A as well as contribute to pricing and contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.  

This is an extremely well positioned business that is poised for significant growth and is likely to attract further investors.  The ideal candidate needs to have a confident self-starter mentality coupled with positive energy and a can-do attitude as well as a strong technical skillset gained in either a corporate or SME environment.  Ideally candidates should also have experience of being the no 1 in finance, but this is not essential if a candidate can demonstrate the right skillset, mindset and aptitude.
