A leading FTSE 100 organisation based in central London is currently undergoing a period of worldwide restructuring. Due to this strategic shift the business is looking to create COE areas around their key finance areas.
This role will be responsible for the definition and implementation of a global Record to Report process to support the strategic direction, vision and organisational model for the Global Finance Shared Service Centre of Excellence (Global SSC). As a member of the Global SSC team, this role will advance, execute and drive transformational changes that deliver continuous improvement associated with the company's accounting transaction and reporting processes, policies and procedures, among others, associated with all geographies and business units, as well as, future business acquisition, product line and geographic expansion.
The Global SSC will provide thought leadership, insight, end-to-end process improvement initiatives, working with the Global Controllership team and the Retained Country and Regional Organisation, across multiple hubs to drive the establishment of best practices within Finance.
This role will partner with the IT function in respect to the financial systems to improve utilisation and the underlying functionality surrounding the systems in order to drive improvements. The role will have exposure to future technologies including robotics, AI and blockchain technologies.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in a GPO role / SSC experience and have a background in Financial Control / Reporting. You will need to have experience working in a large multinational as communication in this role is key.
