My client a leading Logistics business are looking to hire a full time permanent Financial Controller for their London offices. You will report directly to the Finance Director and will be tasked with overseeing the existing finance function and implementing new procedures and processes. They have recently acquired two businesses and you will play an integral part on integrating these businesses into the wider group. You will lead the existing finance team and have strategic and commercial input into future acquisitions.
Key duties also include:
- Liaising with external auditors
- Overseeing statutory accounts
- Review/ analysis of current processes and procedures
- Implementation of new processes/procedures
- Year-end duties
- Month-End duties
- Responsible for market intel- competitor analysis
- Budget processes coordination and validation: Budget, Reforecasts and 5 year plans
- Assessment and exchanges with each subsidiary to meet both local and group ambitions
- Review of P&L and balance sheet, accrual accounting, quarterly closes and budget proposal
