Description
As a funds lawyer you will be primarily responsible for providing legal coverage in respect of the distribution and acquisition of UCITS and ETFs via the company's platform. Although the sole lawyer in London you will join a global team of more than 20 lawyers within a creative and fast paced business.
Profile
The successful candidate is likely to have around 6-10 year's PQE, and will have prior experience from a financial services team in a top tier law firm or equivalent in-house experience within the regulated financial services sector. Candidates should have experience in some of the following areas:
- UCITS experience, with particular knowledge of the cross-border distribution of UCITS funds;
- Familiarity with fund documentation, namely but not limited to, prospectuses, KIID;
- Distribution regulation and practices, namely MiFID II, PRIIPs, RDR, CASS;
- Commercial contracts with distributors and fund distribution agreements;
The ability to speak a European language may well be advantageous but is not essential.
Job Offer
A six figure basic salary + benefits + bonus.
