In-House Legal Company Commercial / Co Sec Lawyer, City

Our client are looking for a lawyer to report to the Head of Legal, sitting in a small legal team, advising on a broad mix of company / commercial law matters as well as acting as Company Secretary.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts including outsourcing agreements
• Drafting and managing inter-company service contracts
• Reviewing and negotiating NDAs
• Acting as Company Secretary for subsidiary boards.
• Taking Board and Audit Committee minutes for main balance sheets in UK and in Ireland.
• Provide legal support in respect of corporate re-organisations and corporate transactions

The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified lawyer with corporate or commercial law experience, including experience of company secretarial work. Candidates from both a law firm or in-house background will be considered. Applications are welcome from candidates at all levels of qualification from NQ up, including lawyers looking to return to work after a significant time of leave. The client is very happy to consider candidates who may be looking for a flexi / part time working arrangement.
