Finance Director

Accountable Recruitment are working with a local company with a national reach, who are seeking to appoint a talented, fully qualified Finance Director to lead the finance team and work closely with the Chief Executive 

Reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer, you will join the senior leadership team and provide outstanding service delivery to a number of internal and external stakeholders through the effective management of a highly skilled and capable finance team. This  opportunity will suit a high-energy, dynamic, qualified Finance Director, who can deliver an assured and emotionally intelligent approach to this key role.

Your role will include:

• Lead, motivate and develop the Finance Team in the effective delivery of high quality services within a customer focussed environment.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that budgets, financial statements of accounts, management accounts and long-term business plans are produced within prescribed timescales and formats and reflect the corporate objectives of our Group.
• You will also work as part of the leadership team to successfully implement the Group's corporate plan and strategic aims.
• To be successful, you will be a proactive and driven senior finance professional who is able to demonstrate significant post-qualification experience, ideally with an understanding of the housing sector.
• An outstanding leader with excellent communication skills, you will demonstrate commercial thinking and first class financial management skills whilst showing commitment to our social ethos.

Essential criteria:

• Fully qualified accountant 
• Experience within housing, construction or a regulatory (ofsted type) environment

Salary c£80,000, 27 days holiday, pension, private medical insurance
