Healthcare Litigation Associate Solicitor

An international law firm is seeking a clinical negligence associate solicitor for its London based Health Litigation team.
This role is likely to be suited to a solicitor with between 2 and 6 years PQE in clinical negligence, however candidates falling outside of these guidelines will also be considered.
This role can be on a part time or full time basis, and the firm will try to make it work for you rather than the other way round. This firm notably offers some great secondment opportunities with its clients, which you will be considered for.
To run a caseload of clinical negligence files to include:
* Drafting reports to the NHS Resolution
* Interviewing witnesses
* Drafting witness statements
* Instructing experts
* Instructing counsel
* Attend Court for Case Management Conferences and Application Hearings
* Negotiate settlements
* Hold conferences with Counsel
* Prepare for and attend trials and mediations
Additional duties:
* Cover secondments to NHS Resolution and local hospital Trusts
* Assist colleagues in the running of higher value claims
* Draft articles for clients
* Cover free advice clinics at local hospital Trusts
* Give client training and presentations
* Supervising and coaching junior members of the team
Candidate Requirements
* Law degree, or equivalent
* Defendant Clinical negligence experience at a NHSR Panel firm or MPS experience is essential
