REED Legal is working alongside global business operating in the fashion sector. They are looking for a Legal Counsel to work as stand-alone counsel in their Surrey office. The ideal candidate would have varied legal background and will enjoy the challenging and competitive environment that this role will offer.

Are you?

* Ideally 5-7 years PQE
* In-house Legal Counsel qualified in England and wales
* A confident independent worker able to make bold decisions
* Experienced with a legal background in the retail industry
* Commercially minded
* A great problem solver that shows initiative

Your responsibilities:

* General legal support
* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
* GDPR
* Compliance
* Regulatory
* Legal support to marketing team
* Trademark and licencing
* Advise company executives on potential legal risks
* Keeping in touch with changes in legislation and making sure necessary action is taken to ensure the business is being compliant
