Senior Legal Counsel

Badenoch and Clark are working in partnership with a client who is recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel with a strong background in commercial and technology contracts. This opportunity will suit a candidate looking to secure a senior position within a global company and is a permanent position based in the Birmingham area.

Purpose of the Role

As the Senior Legal Counsel you will be supporting the Head of Legal on a range of compliance regulatory and legislative matters. You will be taking a proactive and commercially balanced approach to legal risk identification and management as well as dealing with high value commercial and technology contracts.

Working closely with senior stakeholders in the business, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal issues including key strategic initiatives and business critical arrangement. Our client is a leading provider of IT infrastructure.

Candidate Profile

Candidates will need to have a minimum of 5 years PQE as a Solicitor or Barrister.
Candidate will either come from private practice or will have an In-House legal background.

You will have proven experience of dealing with commercial and technology contracts, data protection law, advisory experience in corporate matters along with outsourcing and gas regulatory work.

Remuneration

This position is offering a highly competitive basic salary plus a company car and comprehensive benefits.
