LEGAL COUNSEL, O&G MARKETING, SALES AND TRADING, ABU DHABI

CLIENT: The O&G market continues to advance and build on 2018 gains, with many clients looking to grow, improve, or restructure their teams. This client is doing well and in growth mode.

ROLE: You will join as Legal Counsel in a fairly flat structure, specifically working on downstream matters, but with an emphasis towards commodities and their marketing, sales and trading. The work will be broadly commercial, covering supply agreements, negotiating contracts and training and mentoring other members of the legal team.

CANDIDATE: It is essential that you have at least some experience from a top tier international law firm, and preferably in-house experience from a commodities trading or O&G environment. It is a mid to senior level position and 5-10 PQE is a guide. You need to have a very good understanding of the trading industry, and preferably in an oil and gas context, well as international trade law covering Incoterms.

Ideal candidates will be based in the region already and Arabic is always valued, however overseas applicants may also apply.
