Description

 

Area Property & Asset Manager to perform the following:

 

• Formulate, implement, undertake and manage the Regional Estate and Asset Management Plan.

 

• Participate in the annual business plan and produce a regional plan that contributes to the delivery of the company's outcomes and outputs.

 

• Manage professional advisors and contracts when necessary.

 

• Ensure report records are maintained, kept up to date and amended on complete of transactions.

 

• Develop, maintain and periodically review contracts for each property, ensuring that they accurately reflect the services and associated costs for each client.

 

• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency or urgent property management issues as they arise, seeking to resolve them as quickly and as cost effectively as possible.

 

• Ensure that sustainability and environmental issues are considered so that the organisation meets its statutory obligations and targets.

 

• Engage with clients and other managed service providers.

 

• Report to the property director.

 

 

 

Profile

 

The Area property & Asset Manager will be successful if they have the following:

 

• MRICS Qualification.

 

• Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law.

 

• Knowledge of mandatory and statutory building compliance.

 

• Knowledge of lease/occupancy agreements.

 

• Line management experience.

 

• Budget management experience.

 

• Facilities Management experience would be desirable.

 

• Project management experience would be desirable.
