FP&A Management Accountant

My client is a London residential development company who is looking for an FP&A Management Accountant to work as part of a small team. The role is to develop and manage the Groups FP&A model, providing meaningful reports and analysis, whilst being responsible for 3-4 development companies in a management accountant capacity. 

The position will be heavily involved in Financial Planning and Analysis of large residential developments, working closely with the operational teams and getting out on site, challenging the assumptions for forecasting purposes. In addition you will undertake month end close, VAT and CIS returns and support the Project Directors and Commercial Team with their monthly forecasts.

Duties will include:

• Month end close, sales reconciliations.
• Forecasting models, including how cashflows, balance sheets and P&L interact.
• Roll out new software across Finance and the Group.
• Own the planning and analytics database ensuring integrity of data within.
• Build the group forecasting model to produce a rolling 5 year forecast.
• Create an investment appraisal model to replace the existing excel model.
• Design implement and maintain reports.
• Review, manage and reconcile the sales ledger.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations.
• Submit the monthly VAT and CIS returns.
• Other ad hoc duties

Person

• You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant who has advanced excel skills and track record of modelling. You will be commercial in your approach and have the capability of dealing with people at all levels. You will have experience of improving performance from a financial perspective within a commercial environment. PAX, TM1, Cognos or Hyperion experience would be beneficial or any database system that links in and out of excel.

Offer

65,000 plus the potential to achieve a bonus up to 20% plus benefits.
