Senior Project Manager - Carrier Business - The Hague

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project management

. Agreeing and maintaining milestone plans, project processes, organisation, specifications and acceptance criteria and managing the overall delivery to reach the agreed objectives
. Build and control planning involving multiple deliveries within agreed budget Follow up Budget and cost
. Delivering joint program status reports and managing/escalating joint issues, risks and assumptions as needed, ensuring that key joint decisions made throughput the project are formally agreed and recorded
. Manage all risk associated with a program. Manage all necessary actions to remove OR mitigate these risks and escalation process
. Subcontractors Management (Quality control & activities follow up)
. Obtaining internal approvals, decisions, resourcing, support and budget within the organisation

Customer care

. Reach customer satisfaction according to contract & commitments
. Understanding of customer issues and involve them in planning and resources management
. Organise and participate in meetings in all levels with the customer and suppliers

Communication

. Communicate to the customer and partners the organisation of the project, the planning and the advance of the activities
. Organise, agree and coordinate reporting mechanism for the program and customers.
. Increase customer satisfaction and confidence in our delivery capabilities
. Interface with partnership for project status and ensure clear communication within internal departments (logistics, procurement etc.) and 3rd parties/subcontractors

REQUIREMENTS

. Project and target driven, 5 years and above experience in Projects in Telecommunications Industry (Core, Software, Wireless, Optical, Data, Professional Services) proven track record in managing E-2-E Project Deliveries
. Experience preferably with either a vendor in the Carrier Business or a Carrier Operator
. Degree (Bachelor or higher), preferably in the study areas of either: Telecommunications, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics
. For this specific role experience and knowledge of the process of building and furnishing Datacenters is a key and must have requirement
. PMP, Prince 2 or other Project Management certification is considered a pre
. Fluent English speaker (Dutch is not a requirement, but desired)- an effective written and oral communicator
. Benelux resident or EEA/EU authorised and willing to travel, based in Amsterdam
. Feels comfortable in a multinational environment that includes elements of off-shoring capabilities
. Natural leadership skills and a good team player
. Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable yet assertive and self-motivating.
