Senior Legal Counsel

We are currently working with one of the leading charities in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel on a 12 month fixed-term contract, based in their Vauxhall HQ.

Reporting into their acting Head of Legal, the Senior Lawyer will provide advice and support to the Charity and act as the first point of contact for various business functions as well as offering support and guidance to other members of the legal team.

The role will entail preparing and negotiating contracts which include complex and high value matters, providing guidance and training on matters such as contract law, GDPR, rights and contract management.

The candidate will have qualified as a Solicitor or Barrister and extensive experience in commercial contracts as well as commercial experience in industry including supporting IT and procurement and sales and marketing. Knowledge of charity law and experience working with charities, NHS, other statutory or voluntary sectors contracts is preferred but not essential.
