Client Details
My client is a £60m turnover division of a leading manufacturing group in the UK. The business has a strong market presence, with ambitious growth objectives. This role will report to the Divisional Managing Director, and board, whilst maintaining a dotted line to the Group CFO.
Description
The role of the Finance Director has overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy and is expected to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings, with the most profitable outcomes. This position also directs and oversees all the financial activities of the business, forecasting for future business growth, preparing financial reports and managing the financing/investment strategies with the Board, whilst ensuring an appropriate control environment is in place within the Company. Furthermore, the role will support the business in the review of ongoing commercial activities.

Profile
Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
Graduate qualified ACA / ACMA /ACCA or country equivalent
Significant experience in a business leadership role for a multi business, multi-site plc environment of scale
Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience of manufacturing preferable
Effective communicator, with evident ability to influence and persuade at all levels. Comfortable working alongside operational and commercial colleagues
Down to earth, collaborative and flexible style with evidence of a partnering approach with other Central Service functions and a strong service delivery ethic
Job Offer
Basic Salary of £80-90,000 p.
