Commercial Finance Manager needed for exciting and growing business in Reading!

£70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

A new opportunity has arisen to become the Commercial Finance Manager for a growing global services organisation based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Finance professional with strong FP&A and business partnering skills to support key stakeholders in delivering business goals through providing accurate financial analysis and commercial insight. This is a newly created role which will be managing a team of Commercial Analysts, based in a brand new shiny office.

To successfully deliver in this position, you will need to have:

  • University graduate with strong academic background.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant.
  • FP&A and business partnering experience in a matrix organisation.
  • Strong capabilities in financial modelling (scenario & sensitivity analysis).
  • Experience manipulating large data sets.
  • Leadership experience and ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance and non-Finance teams.
  • Strong technical skills including developing reports and visualising data in BI systems
  • Excellent organisation skills with an enthusiastic ability to problem solve

A little more information about the role:

  • Liaise with, and challenge, senior stakeholders to help them achieve business goals.
  • Act as a trusted, influential point of contact within Finance for the FD and other members of the Exec and wider leadership team for the provision of actionable insight based on financial and non-financial analysis.
  • Lead the development and growth of the Commercial Finance team to ensure the business has access to accurate, high-quality insight based on thorough and careful analysis of data.
  • Understand the value drivers of the business and provide analysis of performance to multiple business units.
  • Support the development of the new pricing approach and profitability modelling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Input into the implementation of new systems to ensure that KPIs are recorded, tracked and analysable.
  • Clearly and confidently communicate methodologies, outputs and recommendations to key stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
