Head of Data Protection and DPO- In House

The role of Head of Data Protection will report to the CFO and you will manage the business wide operations for this iconic brand.

You will be the principal contact for all DP and Statutory requirements including GDPR and PECR/ePrivacy.

This position will work closely with senior stakeholders and the wider board providing critical support. 

You will lead a team ensuring effective management of DP Governance across the business.

Some of the main responsibilities will include;

• Advising the business regarding the DP obligations and compliance with the GDPR and other DP laws.
• To advice and monitor DP assessments
• Drafting and keeping under review DP policies, notices, agreements and procedures
• Prioritise and focus on risk assessment of various activities across the business.
• To monitor compliance with the GDPR and other DP laws.
• Providing and implementing checklists and escalation procedures.

This is a key role withing a fast moving and rapidly changing organisation.

You will be a UK Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years pqe. You must have current and up to date DP experience. Previous experience within a regulated environment would be an advantage.
