Financial Controller

Your new company
A leading international law firm is looking to hire a financial controller to take a leading role in the London based finance function. This award winning firm has shown is a household name in the legal sector and offers a fantastic working environment for its employees.

Your new role
This role is a senior position within the finance function working closely with the CFO with a broad array of financial, operational and strategic duties. The role will review management and statutory reporting under IFRS for a number of entities. You will be involved in improving processes and controls development and ensuring best practice accounting policy is followed. Working with the CFO, this role will drive strategic initiatives within the firm, giving exposure to senior stakeholders and allowing scope for development and progression.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to a qualified accountant with significant PQE and experience in the legal sector. You will need to be a proven leader, managing successful teams and developing staff. The role will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders.
