Financial Controller - FC - Qualified - Construction Industry - Property Development


Your new company
A business group accounting for about 40 companies within Propriety Development and Construction Industry. They are rapidly expanding, therefore they are looking to appoint a new Group Financial Controller to work together with the Director Shareholders.

Your new role

Responsibilities include:

• The management of all financial and accounting operations
• The coordination of all bookkeeping duties as well as the preparation of budgets / financial forecasts and report variances.
• Preparation of monthly / end of year forecasts and report variances, as well as corporation tax returns.
• Opening Bank accounts and dealing with the changes to existing accounts.
• Reconciliation of external lenders and of trial balances.
• Dealing with HMRC and registering for VAT.
• Assisting all accounting operations and preparation of analysis for other departments.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have previous experience as a group Financial Controller and you should be able to undertake all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as the management of internal bookkeepers. The successful candidate should be striving for progression as they want someone who will be able to grow together with the business. Someone who is confident, solution orientated, with have a progressive and committed attitude towards the professional career. Must be comfortable with juggling large sums of money.

What you'll get in return

£35,000 - £60, 0000 plus excellent career progression opportunities.
