This leading international investment bank is seeking an experienced lawyer to join their London office in a largely advisory role. This role will see you identifying and advising on legal, regulatory and market developments arising under regulatory changes that impact the bank and its business. You will also advise on legal and reputational issues arising in transactions, manage relationships both internally and externally, and be involved in project work.
You will have trained at a top City firm and have gained post-qualification experience (minimum 3 years) in financial services regulatory law, and preferably had some in-house experience, whether that be on secondment or having already made the move in-house. You may also come from a transactional background (derivatives, lending), but must have had an advisory element as part of your role. Exposure to regulatory change issues such as MiFID 2, Volcker, Dodd-Frank and EMIR is highly advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced environment that provides great scope to grow and develop existing legal skills.
