M&A Lawyer, FTSE Top 50 business

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a corporate lawyer to support this global group advising the UK and EMEA regions. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a large supportive legal team and develop both your legal and commercial skills in a fast paced and forward thinking environment. The quality of work is very high, and you will be given all the support and training typical of a large law firm whilst getting involved directly supporting a global company.

Our client is a world leader in its field and going through continuous growth. As part of this growth the legal team now require an additional lawyer. You will undertake a specialist corporate role supporting M&A activity. This could include legal and risk management advice on acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and project management in the UK, Ireland and EMEA.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer who has experience in M&A activity ideally in cross-border transactions (although strong UK experience with some international exposure is sought). In-house experience would be a benefit but not essential. You will be pragmatic, a good communicator and a confident, calm individual. You must have a strong academic background and professional training with a reputable law firm or business.

The role can either be based in the East midlands or London. Our client is a flexible employer and will consider some home working.

This is an exciting, fast paced business with an enviable reputation.
