Their ambition to become one of the dominant global online retailers is coming to fruition - this year alone they have reported a 53% rise in 1st quarter revenues.

With presence in the UK, US, Europe and Australia boohoo designs, sources, markets and sells clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty products targeted at 16-30 year olds. From their base in Manchester, they have grown rapidly in the UK and internationally, and now has over seven million customers. The legal team is small but growing. As you would expect from a business like booHoo the legal team is dynamic, passionate about what they do and excited by what the future holds for them and the business. Working alongside the General Counsel and Head of Legal you will provide legal support in the UK and internationally. This is an extremely busy and varied role that will see you work across:

· Commercial contracts;
· IP work - contentious and non-contentious;
· Sponsorship - with brand ambassadors and style campaigns such as Zen Daya, Paris Hilton and French Montana
· Consumer law / website terms and conditions;
· Advertising, media and marketing promotions;
· Corporate work;
· Compliance work (including GDPR) required to support a growing international business;
· To work with the Head of Legal and a variety of business stakeholders to manage legal risk and compliance effectively within the Boohoo business;

The work within the team is complex and requires a confident lawyer with either a strong private practice background or previous experience in a fast-moving in-house environment. The key aspect here is a passion to work in-house, working with the business to create commercial solutions. Enthusiasm and hard work are essential and in return you will receive great experience in an unrivalled business. Ideally you will have a commercial background but more important than this is your business acumen and desire to make a difference within the boohoo business.
