Compliance Executive

An international investment management organisation based in the city of London is currently looking for a Compliance Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Chief Compliance Officer the Compliance Executive will be responsible for a wide range of matters including, but not limited to:

• Interacting with clients on a regular basis and supporting them with any compliance and risk enquiries which will include general compliance reporting, responding to due diligence questions, compliance certifications and contract renewals
• Involvement in risk framework maintenance
• Having responsibility  for the compliance monitoring program  
• Deputising for the Chief Compliance Officer
• Supporting on ad hoc compliance related projects
• Working closely with the Board and senior leadership team

There is significant opportunity to grow and develop with this role and the organisation are ultimately looking for someone with the gravitas and desire to step up into a management / deputy role. Being part of a mid-sized organisation you will have significant exposure to the Board and senior management team and this role is regarded as being fundamental to the businesses success and growth.

To be considered for the role you should:

• Have some experience advising on compliance / risk related matters
• Be familiar with UCITS, MiFID, EMIR and general regulatory matters
• Ideally have some knowledge of the Investment Companies Act and have worked within financial services and ideally within an investment management organisation
• Have a proactive and professional approach to your work
