JOB TITLE: Commercial Lawyer
PQE REQUIRED: 2+ years
LOCATION: London
SALARY: Excellent
THE ROLE:
This temporary contract role will see the appointed Commercial Lawyer become a vital member of the team. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting and advising on commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers. One of your key responsibilities will include carrying out risk assessments in relation to new contracts and agreements. Due to the nature of the role you must be a confident communicator and take a no-nonsense, pragmatic approach in your legal advice. This is a contract to cover notice period for a new members of staff which is likely to run for around 3 months.
THE CANDIDATE:
To be considered for the role you will be a qualified Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years experience of providing complex commercial advice in a private practice or in-house setting. An exceptional ability to negotiate and draft contracts is essential, as is a proven ability to effectively communicate with other members of the legal team. The role will require some travel between the firm's offices so your own transport will be a distinct advantage.
