Interim Finance Director & Transformation Consultant

Based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, our technology client at the forefront of their industry is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join them as Finance Director & Transformation Consultant on an interim basis.

This would suit a passionate and ambitious Finance Director to work closely with the GM and oversea EMEA while being responsible for the divisional accounting and longer-term strategic planning. Recent and future investment means this individual will have to manage the expansion plans and cash position ensuring controls and understanding are in place for enhanced financial reporting, integration of a new CRM and value add analysis and pricing strategies for future business.

This company is an international business with a turnover at c.£15m and immediate plans in place to push through on aggressive development in the next 24 months. The business is an international technology business that is at the forefront of their industry and part of an exciting wider group.

The job will lead and build the finance function in the UK and EMEA. The short-term requirements will be to consolidate the business reporting, including a new finance system for the Group, develop the management information and improve the understanding of key business areas that affect both the top and bottom line. The position is initially very hands on as the development of the finance function is undertaken but the position will grow quickly as the business grows.

The successful individual will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with a strong track record as a Finance Director/ No in finance position. Experience of leading and developing a finance function will be important and experience of working in the technology industry is essential, ideally within SaaS.

Duties will include:

• Member of the senior management team offering strategic and financial leadership
• Act as the business partner for the GM
• Lead a Digital transformation programme within Salesforce and NetSuite
• Negotiating contracts- both new and existing
• Development of the Group finance function including the full monthly management pack
• Consolidated reporting processes
• Leading the annual budget and cashflow forecasts
• Implement the best tools to ensure consistency and develop efficiencies
• Development of new processes and procedures in the business
• Control and improvement of the R&D function and the ROI of this department
