Finance Business Partner - Part-time/Flexible working

£50,000 to £65,000 (FTE) + benefits, bonus, pension

Our FTSE Listed PLC client has an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute candidate who is seeking a part-time/flexible-working role.

The purpose of this newly created Commercial Finance Partner role is to support business performance and decision making across all business operations and, through developing insightful analysis of operations and projects, to inform strategic decision making at Executive level.

The role will be responsible for developing detailed insight into the key drivers of profit, value  and cash in the business and for building strong and productive partnering relationships with Function heads.

The role can accommodate part-time or flexible working which may particularly appeal to certain candidates.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, this is a highly influential role and will have a high degree of visibility across the Senior Management Team and the business as a whole.

Key responsibilities include:-

• Support business operations with performance intelligence derived from data generated through finance and operational systems;
• Develop detailed insight into the key drivers of profit, value and cash in the business;
• Create models and scenarios for specific business projects and determine project viability;
• Help to inform the Executive on key areas to assist the strategic decision making process;
• Provide insight into different markets to identify business opportunities through in-depth research and analysis;
• Implement Power BI management information tool.

The Candidate

• ACA, ACCA or ACMA with experience of using analytical skills to deliver insight and add value;
• Sound commercial acumen supported by excellent relationship building and communication skills;
• Strong experience of data analysis tools (esp Excel).
