CFO

A fast-growing private equity-backed multi-site, logistics business (International offering)  are looking to bring in a new CFO to partner with the CEO and board to help drive towards an exit in the next 5 years. The business has grown through organic growth and is now at c. £40m turnover and 10 million Ebitda. The plan over the next 5 years is to increase the offering by acquisition work and organic growth to achieve an exit.

The Role

The key responsibilities will include working closely with the CEO and operations managers to drive commercial insight and profitability; building strong relationships with stakeholders across the group, as well as externally with the PE investors and debt providers, and preparing and leading the exit process.

The Requirements:

• You will be an experienced CFO with a high degree of emotional intelligence to be able to build lasting relationships with stakeholders across the group;
• Ideally you will have worked within a PE-backed environment or gone through an exit process, and you will have worked in a logistics business/ services environment
• Be a strong business partner, who can work closely with founders and can challenge and bring rigour to their approach.
• Have a change-driven, proactive approach.
