Interim Group Financial Controller

A private equity backed services business, based in London City, is seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller for initially 6 months during a period of significant change.

This potential temp-to-perm opportunity will report directly to the CFO and will be required to take a hands-on approach in maintaining a high level of financial integrity throughout the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and leading a sizeable team of finance professionals
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and financial systems
• Ensuring financial controls are robust and consistent with best practise
• Producing consolidated statutory accounts as and when required in accordance with IFRS
• Maintaining close working relationships with key stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant with significant controllership experience
• Experience of leading a finance transformational agenda within a business in distress/turnaround position
• Hands-on; able to roll up your sleeves and dive into the detail when necessary
• Technically strong with high levels of accountability
• Strong people management and experience of developing a sizeable

Daily Rate: up to £850 per day / £130-160k base salary
