Part-time Finance Director

Part-time Finance Director role - 3 days a week


Our client, a TV media business based in the West End of London, have recently engaged us exclusively to recruit for a Finance Director to lead their stable finance function. The role will be part time (3 days a week) and will report the CEO.

The successful candidate will act as part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to the long-term strategy and development of the club and ensuring sound financial management of available resources.

As the Finance Director you will oversee the finance function;

• Producing annual accounts and budgets
• Monthly management accounts
• Cashflow forecasts,
• Ad hoc reports for the Board
• Taking minutes
• Ensuring compliance
• Managing company accountant and controlling the bank account
• Prepare annual accounts and corporation Tax computation
• VAT return/ pension/payroll
• Prepares and agrees agenda for Board meetings
• Liaison with banks, solicitors and insurers
• Reviews contracts and leases

• A recognised professional accounting qualification is preferable
• Experience of managing the full finance function (business planning, budgeting, accounting, forecasting, management) at a senior level.
• Proven team management experience.
