Management Accountant

Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of one of Leicestershire's most respected and ambitious brands. This role will be on a 6mnth basis.

This role is working for well established local manufacturer, part of a high performing group. As Management Accountant you will have exposure to senior level stakeholders from all areas of the business - Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain.

As Management Accountant you will be;
-Supporting operational teams in the review of P and L's, budgeting and forecasting activities.
-Business planning/scenario modelling assisting operations in their strategic decision making process.
-Production of monthly management accounts and providing your commentary on areas of variance and drivers.
-Cost analysis and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains.
-Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you must be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA. CIMA or ACA) with experience of presenting financial information to senior level stakeholders.
You must be able to utilise advanced level Excel skills (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are essential) Previous experience within manufacturing would also be advantageous.
