Head of Finance

Reed Finance have joined partnerships with a growing an impressive construction organisation who are now seeking a new senior finance leader to grow the team and develop the business.

Reporting into the owners of the business, some key responsibilities include:

Overseeing a team of experienced accounts assistants.

Producing various management reports, including management accounts, business plans and cash flows.

Ensuring the statutory regulatory reports are filled such as CIS returns, VAT returns, Company accounts and RTI returns.

Work closely with management to advise and overcome any operational issues in a managerial capacity.

To provide weekly cash flows, 1st month forecasts and management accounts.

Oversight and management of two staff members.

Weekly bank reconciliations and daily cash updates.

Monthly payroll oversight.

Ensuring all statutory requirements are met with the HMRC

VAT/PAYE/NI Reconciliations and Submissions

Year-end accounts and audit preparation and assist auditors.

Cash flow forecasting / cash management

Budgeting

The successful candidate will be an accomplished, senior finance professional who is ready and willing to undertake a challenging yet rewarding position. Experience in the construction industry will be key here as well as the ability manage and build relationships with key stakeholders.
