Director of FP&A

Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a long-standing client of ours - a global, listed logistics business with revenues around $5bn.

My client is currently in the process of establishing their new Global HQ within London, and are now looking to hire a Director of FP&A to lead the Corporate FP&A team.

This is a newly created position that has come about as a result of the growth of the business, as well as the Corporate FP&A function taking on broader commercial responsibilities:

Responsibilities for the role include:

• Leading the global short, medium and long-term planning, budgeting process and 5 Year Plan across the Group
• Leading the Group quarterly forecast process
• Providing consolidated analytics and insight, as well as analysis and commentary for management reporting and forecasting
• Partnering with global business unit leaders to achieve business objectives that drive value for the Group
• Supporting and engaging with the Group Strategy team to align both short and long-term planning with strategic objectives for the Group
• Generally supporting Group FP&A Transformation activities
• Managing the Corporate FP&A team, with the ability to lead, develop and retain individuals within the team
• Ability to engage and build rapport with internationally based Business Unit CFOs
• Exposure and involvement within Investor Relations and Strategy work
• Strong process improvement mentality

Experience required:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Excellent Group FP&A experience working within complex, multinational businesses
• Good understanding of Commercial Finance processes
• Experience of managing, leading and developing FP&A/Commercial Finance teams
• Background within a Product based industry would be a preference, in particular an understanding of Supply Chain
