Interim Reporting Analyst

Hawkmont Consulting is exclusively recruiting for a global private equity backed FMCG business for an Interim Reporting Analyst who will be based out of their site in Nairobi in Kenya. 

The focus of the role is to implement Epicor XL Connect and then empower the local team to use it to its full capacity. The contract length will be 3 months and will suit somebody with the necessary skills and who sees this for the exciting opportunity it is.

Responsibilities will include;

• Design and develop business reports to drive key business decisions.
• Reviews report requirement to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report.
• Liaise with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements.
• Review current process and recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
• Examine reports to locate and resolve errors.
• Assemble and analyse data for business reports, make sure data and calculations are accurate.
• Train other staff members on generating reports, and using the reports to improve their efficiency

Key Skills;

• Business related Degree
• Excellent computer skills
• Awareness on various aspects of business, such as accounting/ finance
• Previous experience developing business reports
• Knowledge of Epicor, Advanced Financial Reporting and XL Connect is a huge advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to self-start and deliver results
• Working in a team.
