Our client a well known international business in Middlesex is seeking a Legal Counsel for a 2-3 month period initially with the possibility of being extended beyond this.
Responsibilities:
*Assisting with GDPR preparations, liaising with processors and other vendors on standard GDPR clauses. Finalising policies across the businesses markets, and finalising processes and procedures in line with GDPR requirements.
*Being the contact for procurement across the European business, drafting and negotiating contracts, extensions, amendments and termination letters.
*Providing legal support to the sales team in drafting and negotiating contracts across the European region.
*Leading on major European IT projects, systems development agreements and software licencing.
*Assisting on potential M&A projects arising within the European business, liaising with external lawyers as necessary.
*General legal support across all marketing requirements.
*Supporting the franchise and audit departments as required.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years PQE* with the ability to work unsupervised. You will have a proactive approach and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
