Head of Compliance - Interim

McKenzie Douglas are recruiting for a financial services organisation who are looking for a capable and experienced Compliance professional who can provide a 3 - 5-month cover to manage their established Compliance function.

You will work closely with the Risk & Legal divisions, wider Compliance team across the country as well as the Executive Board. We are therefore, looking for a professional who has exceptional communication skills, (internal & external) stakeholder management experience as well as financial services / banking sector background.

Requirements

• Work as a Consultant / Contractor / Interim / Locum professional - ideally you will have your own ltd business or are happy to set one up
• Minimum 5PQE*
• In-House experience or a good understanding of what it takes to be successful
• Banking / Financial services regulation (FCA/ Consumer Credit) is essential
• General BAU compliance experience is also desirable i.e. financial security, PEP, due diligence, sanctions, professional ethics
