Headquartered in London, our client is a highly successful, dynamic and fast growing FTSE 100 business. They are looking to add an ambitious Senior Group Accountant to their Finance Function. Senior Group Accountant 

As a senior member of the Group Reporting Team, the Senior Group Accountant has specific responsibility for a number of central entities; including consolidation and elimination adjustments, and other critical Group tasks. The Senior Group Accountant also manages the UK statutory reporting process and supports the Financial Reporting Manager throughout the year as required, but especially at the half-year and year-end.

This isn't a traditional month end role as most of the standard responsibilities will be completed by the Junior Accountants and wider team. Senior Group Accountant 

The opportunity has huge exposure to senior stakeholders, and the CFO and Group FC will lean on the Senior Group Accountant for information, making this a fantastic opportunity to impress the senior management team and learn from an incredibly strong leadership team.

Senior Group Accountant 

The ideal candidate for this Senior Group Accountant role will:

• 2 years post-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience working in Group reporting in a large multi-national PLC 
• Enthusiastic, with a strong sense of pride in the quality of their work 
• Tenacious
• Proactive and self-sufficient
• A good communicator, confident in explaining accounting matters to others
• Interested in process improvement
• Willing to “roll up their sleeves” to tackle any task or get into the detail when required 
• Personable and straightforward with a good sense of humour
