Finance Director

Our client is a PE backed, international software company and they are now looking to recruit a highly driven FD to join a strong management team.  Working closely with the Chairman, Sales and Operations Directors you will have full ownership of all financial, accounting and reporting aspects of the business and will play an instrumental role in shaping the strategy. 

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage the key strategic growth metrics
• Support the leadership team with KPIs to fit their teams and identify strategies and tactics to support continual growth
• Manage banking relationships in the UK and US
• Prepare cash flow forecasts that allow the Chairman and others to drive strategic growth and corporate value
• Ensure the financial systems are robust enough to support future growth
• Company Secretary

• Support the Sales and Operations in commercial and financial aspects of customer relationships

Profile

• Qualified accountant
• An experienced FD of PE/ VC backed company
• Experience of operating in a project based / consulting environment
• Able to roll up sleeves and work in the detail as well as provide higher level analysis
• International experience including FX and multi-currency
• Experience of a corporate exit
• Previous experience of working in high growth software company

Importantly you will, in due course, be responsible for working with the Board to prepare the company for an exit that delivers significant shareholder value.
