Our client is a property development business which has recently taken private equity investment to support its ambitious growth plans. As a result of the investment, the business is now looking to appoint a new Finance Director who can help shape and drive the future strategy towards an eventual exit.
As a member of the board, the finance director will act as a business partner to the entrepreneurial CEO and oversee all aspects of Finance (including raising project debt and working with lenders). The Finance Director will also work closely with the Private Equity investor and other members of the senior management team.
This is a business which has carved out their own niche in the market and which has huge potential; which makes it a very exciting time for a Finance Director to be joining them.
The Finance Director will be a qualified accountant, with applicable sector experience in property development or construction. They will have managed businesses with multiple entities and have a track record of contributing to a growing business or working within a high growth environment.
They will have experience in dealing with Government entities and Government-backed lenders, such as Homes England (HE) or the Greater London Authority (GLA), as well as Experience in working with private equity investors.
