Social Finance Lawyer

THE ROLE

You will be acting for impressive range of clients including multi-nationals, social enterprises, household name charities and public bodies.

The firm exists not only for profit but also to make a material positive impact on society and the environment.

The role will provide you with exposure to a wide range of charities, social enterprises and commercial businesses seeking to have a positive impact.

You will also have the opportunity to work on a mixture of advisory and transactional work at the more complex and commercial end of the charity and social enterprise spectrum.

In particular, you will be involved in advising clients on transactions where the aim is to generate both a financial return and some form of social impact.

Many of these transactions will be UK-focused but your work may also involve helping to grow a presence in development finance and emerging markets.

Day-to-day, your role will primarily involve providing support to two senior associates in the team, though there will be opportunities to work with other members.

ABOUT YOU

A solicitor NQ-2pqe with experience in banking, capital markets or another form of transactional finance, you will be looking to join a friendly, supportive and market-leading social finance and impact investing team.
