THE ROLE:

Our clients Construction and Engineering team are continuing to see significant growth in clients and high quality work and as a result of their on-going success they are looking for a knowledgeable Construction Solicitor to join their offices in the West Midlands. The team which the Construction Solicitor will be joining advise on development work, major infrastructure projects, real estate and corporate acquisition work, along with remediation and environmental advice with specialisms in plant and power generation projects.

THE CANDIDATE:

For the successful Construction Solicitor role our client is seeking a Solicitor who will possess the necessary skills to proactively pursue their career within an exciting Construction role. The Construction Solicitor will either be newly qualified who has completed a Construction seat and has a clear ambition to develop a career in Construction law, although applications will be considered from Construction Solicitors with previous experience gained within a City or large regional firm. The team the successful Construction Solicitor will be joining deals with matters such as contentious and non-contentious construction matters including standard and bespoke forms of construction, engineering and building contracts, preparing and advising on documentation such as collateral warranties, duty of care agreements and performance bonds. In relation to your non-contentious workload you will be handling assisting on cases of dispute resolution by negotiation, mediation and litigation. A bright and enthusiastic Construction Solicitor is sought to join this dynamic and expanding Construction team within the West Midlands.
