A leading international law firm is seeking a 3 years+ PQE lawyer to join their London Regulatory Compliance and Investigations team and to support the international team more widely.


You will be joining a team that is renowned for its work in the FMCG (particularly food) industry from manufacturing to retail and service industry. This team supports clients launching products on to the market across the EU to dealing with challenges when things go wrong in local courts as well as the CJEU.

Much of the advisory work is international and they have supported clients in over 45 jurisdictions in the last year.


This firm are looking to take on a litigation lawyer with:
* A high level of technical expertise in FMCG particularly food and an ability to apply it in a commercial and professional way achieving good results on large/complex cases.
* Strong track record of providing compliance advice as well as litigation experience.
* Expertise in at least one wider area of regulatory law (e. pharma or environmental) would be beneficial. Ability to develop the business in terms of both existing and new clients.
* Proven track record of working in an environment with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.

You will be providing excellent and commercial regulatory advice both in terms of supporting clients putting products onto the market both in the UK and across the EU and beyond.


The function of the role will be to Provide a high quality service to clients in a commercial and professional manner managing a caseload of predominantly complex and/or high value cases, with assistance from more junior fee earners, to maintain an understanding of the latest developments in FMCG regulatory law and to regularly seek to update skills in addition to and outside of the CPD process, sharing learning across the team.
